True, I keep anything work related, customers will try to get away with all
manner of things if you don't have an audit trail.

However, mailing lists just get binned, our Exchange Server is slow and old
as it is.

By curious coincidence, I work pretty much the same as Erika

I have folders full of old CF-Talk and CF-Community emails - if I could
get my >2Gb PST back to life, I'd have nearly 2 years of CF-Talk on my
machine

Then again, I don't delete any emails, not even the sent ones - that way
I can always get back to what somebody said and know I have the one I
received...
