Exactly... until your company forces you kicking and screaming to switch to Lotus Notes. Then your desktop machine starts to feel like a separate device. ;^) But I have to agree. PalmOS has come a LONG way, no doubt, but for a multi-purpose media device it still leaves a lot to be desired. I still have an older IPaq 1900 and it just plain does everything I want. While commuting I can read a book while listening to music or watch a movie. I can do all of the PIM stuff, of course, but also play games or do cross word puzzles (with actual handwriting recognition or Graffiti or an onscreen keyboard a simplified letter/number recognizer). If I need to do larger text I can do wirelessly with a bluetooth keyboard (while listening to music). I do wish my device had a compact flash slot in addition to the SD slot... and WiFi would be nice... but of course both those features (and more) are available on several newer devices. If I really want them I could upgrade. I know that you can do a lot of that with Palm nowadays... but I've been doing most of it with Windows for nearly six years.
