This show captures my imagination, but it moves at the speed of snot. I wish it would do something rather than give me details as to how the black guy on the raft got his kid.
That guy shoulda been shot after the way he treated the guy who saved his life. It was the same logo. There was a word > on it, but it was a bit too small to read. I believe it began with S. It was also on the sharks tail. ;^) I believe the logo said "Dharma"... I remember telling my wife (upon seeing the logo on the circuit panel) that "the next panel's name is 'Greg'". Hey, you may groan, but she has to live with me. > 3) I think the whole countdown thing was a way for the "Owners" (or > whoever is behind the Island) to check and see if Desmond is still > alive. Ie, it's basically an "All Clear" type task. Exactly. And that one time he doesn't do it... well, nothing will happen - it was just a scare tactic. > 4) I think (I forget his name, the 'bad boy' on the raft) was right - > the boat came from the island. Not that I know squat about boats, but > it is the kind of detail that makes sense. Yeah - I think the one thing that they'll be sticking with is that all scenes in the "present" will take place in a microcosm of the island. Everything comes down to the island... you never get away from the island and so forth. The flashback scenes could be anyplace, anytime, but I think they'll constantly reinforce the idea that the island is "all there is" from now on.
