Quite right. The Republicans, in their zeal to win, have become everything they said they wouldn't be. I don't think it's due to difficulty to govern, however, I think it's a complete loss of the party focus or "values". Who are the Republicans now? All they can really claim to be is religious conservatives. They've sold out on every other principle. What I find curious are the old guard that are still circling: McCain, Hagel, Gingrich. There may be a coup brewing and I wouldn't blame them a bit. Take the gang of 14 and toss in a few outsiders and you've got a real fiscally conservative party again! (People that would agree with me on the minimum wage :) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Discover CFTicket - The leading ColdFusion Help Desk and Trouble Ticket application http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=48 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:175714 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
