Yeah, a firewall in a place I didn't expect and had totally forgotten
about.  The oddest part to me was that the Cisco VPN client adds a
second Network Config, but it's disabled unless you are conencted via
VPN.  I figured that disabling that net config would kill anything
related to the VPN software.  I was wrong.
