Yes its OK. I just cannot understand it. I LOVE books. (And music and movies and tv and video games)
I also cannot understand guys that KNOW they can pick up any girl. I cannot understand thinking your race/religion/gender is inherantly better than everyone elses. I cannot understand people who can sing well or play the guitar or draw and DON'T. I cannot understand the "need for speed" It drives my brother in law crazy. He loves speed, and hates to read. Too slow. He hates board games, but love his XBOX. He'll do a wheelie on his GSXR or CBR at 150, and bring it down with a 100 ft stoppie. He'll open up my dad's boat until he is right on the edge of flipping it. His motor is stuck on high at all times. I use the trolling motor. I love to kayak. And float downstream slowly. And walk. I drive a Jeep Wrangler 4 cylinder that has never seen the other side of 80mph. I use my brakes when riding a bicycle downhill. I'll read a book all morning. He'll build a new kitchen. And he is definitely as smart as I am, even though he went all through school being told he wasn't (and being forced into a Tech school, at whichi he excelled). On 10/7/05, Michael T.
