I don't see why this is necessarily a bad thing. Looking at these statistics

Why shouldn't a Supreme Court Justice's religion be a reflection of the nation? The President has a right to make his recommendation based on the qualifications that he sees fit, regardless of whether or not we agree with them (About everybody thinks he could have made a better choice, myself included). Furthermore, does her religion automatically mean that her decisions will be based on that religion? Does Ginsburg's religion mean that, should the issue arise, she would vote that eating pork is an unconstitutional act based on her faith? I'm sure she would not. To disparage her because of her religious faith is as discriminatory as you fear she would be. To not take into account the religious faith of any person as an aspect of a Supreme Court justice is a bigger mistake than doing so.
