Of course I have But knowing they are the one you want to be with is different than wanting to get married. I have always said I would never get married nor have kids. I almost got my tubes tied at 28. And I dont' really think marriage is important - the committment is important. But since meeting Mike, to whom getting married IS important I have agreed to get married before kids. And the kid thing....well, when I met mike I changed my mind about kids too - I could see having kids with him as my partner.
I dont' believe in fate or destiny nor do I believe there is only one person that I could love for the rest of my life. I do know there are very few I could STAND for the rest of my life. I believe in timing, and receptiveness to a relationship (which I was not when I met mike) being key in having one work. I have known people who said "it was love at first sight" and "I knew the first time we met" whose marriages end in divorce. There is more to it than "This person is the one". > -----Original Message----- > From: Nathan Stanford [SMTP:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] > Sent: Thursday, December 13, 2001 10:32 AM > To: CF-Community > Subject: RE: I got a present today!
