Make your own notes, if you put this down for a few days and pick it thinking you can depend on the Journal to pick up where you left off forget it :) The Journal was one of the first things they 'fixed' in the PC version with a third party user created Mod ^_^. List your quests in order, who gave it to you, and who you have to Return to and EXACTLY where they are (City,Building,Room in building). Make use of the Mark and Recall spell combo to rapidly return you to your quest giver for Fed Ex type quests. Also, look into using the COC cheat with the console to instantly teleport to locations if you are playing this on the PC.
