That passage didn't say that at all, it didn't even address the question if
read in the context of the mother being injured.  If the context was the
baby being injured, then the passage says eye-for-an-eye.  Read it yourself.

Also, *I'm sure* he's excluding the New Testament, whereby Jesus excludes
the Levitical laws.  Understanding Biblical law is not as simple as pointing
at a passage.

It was, but he was saying the for those that do, Biblical law does
take a position: murder is punishible by death but a fetus death is
punishible by a fine.

Basically he's saying that what you are and adding that it's doubly
stupid if you understand Biblical law.  I don't so I wouldn't know,
but he sounded well educated in the B-i-b-l-e
