Wargames was my formative Matthew Broderick movie. (tm)

Ali Sheety. And now the girl from Square Pegs (Square Pegs, Square
Pegs, Square Square Pegs!). Bastard.

And it wasn't Air Jordans. He was still in high school. For me it was
Joxx (By Thom McCann) which I never got, cause they were $30.00. Or
suede Pumas. I had to settle for $6.00 green and yellow Nike running
shoes (before anyone new who Nike was). And a pair of white canvas
pro-keds ($2.50 at Railroad Salvage). And a pair of black and white
checked Vans (mail order with paper route money). And a pair of
Converse all-stars. And a pair of Hermann Survivors as camping/hiking
gear ($82.00 with paper route workmans comp money). All of which
styles I still wear (except the Nikes were replace with indoor soccer
shoes). The pair of Hermann Survivors survived and have about 6000
logged hiking miles, including some this month.
