Why bother? When I run into problems like this I have one resolution: reinstall, period. End of story. Unless I am getting paid to sit there and try to remove that crapware it is a complete waste of time and I have no problem telling family and friends this. You could have enjoyed your Saturday by backing up their crap on Friday night, extracting their serial key from their machine, using one of your XP or 2000 discs (we all have them) and went to town. Problem solved. 10 minutes of education on how to run scans and prevent spyware/malware/shitware and yer home enjoying the rest of the weekend with your family. Shame on you for being nice.
