I've tried a couple of other online poker sites but so far PartyPoker.com is my favorite.
I too like the free tournaments. However, anytime you are playing for free people play very differently than if there is money at stake. Even in the free tournaments 80% of the time some idiot goes all in on the first hand. Just ride out the idiots they are usually gone within a few hands. I can usually come in top 3 by taking my time and playing smart. That being said I have only been playing for about a year and am still learning. Has anyone here played for money online? How do the money tournaments work? I am interested in playing in cheap ($10 buy in) tournaments to get a feel for real money poker. -----Original Message----- From: Matthew Small [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Tuesday, October 25, 2005 6:10 AM To: CF-Community Subject: RE: partypoker.com The partypoker.com free tournaments are awesome. I play those because there's an element of realism you can't get in the regular table play. There is the occasional butthead that goes all-in on the first hand, no matter what his hand is, but generally it's a great deal of fun, and terrific practice for the real thing (IMHO). - Matt Small -----Original Message----- From: Tony [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Tuesday, October 25, 2005 9:06 AM To: CF-Community Subject: Re: partypoker.com either of you know how it compares to pacificpoker.com? i really do not like pacificpoker.com, VERY dumb players. all in on nothing just to do it... that kinda shit is boring to play against. tw On 10/25/05, Ken Ketsdever <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > I play often. > > -----Original Message----- > From: Jean-Baptiste Emanuel Zorg [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: Monday, October 24, 2005 5:54 PM > To: CF-Community > Subject: partypoker.com > > anyone else play there? i just got started a bit ago.. damn it's > addicting. > > > > ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Discover CFTicket - The leading ColdFusion Help Desk and Trouble Ticket application http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=48 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:178025 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
