None of that makes any sense since the documents *supported* the yellowcake story. I've heard numerous analysts talking about this and the conclusion seems to be nobody knows who did it. Since the documents encouraged invasion, the obvious forgers would be someone who wanted the US to invade Iraq - which is why Israel is a candidate.
