10 years is a pretty long time for a car battery, much less a whole battery management system with multiple batteries.
-Cameron IIRC, the hybrid battery (HV) is a single large battery located near the center of gravity of the vehicle. I suspect in ten years time, there will be a nice industry of replacing and refurbishing these kinds of batteries.
