Scott A. Stewart ColdFusion Developer The worst case political tripe from a musician, was from a band called "Pain of Salvation". They were scheduled to appear on several stops on this summer's "Gigantour" (Megadeth, Anthrax, Nevermore, Dream Theater in an Ozfest style tour) Gigantour played to packed ampitheaters across the US.
It was huge for the smaller bands that played it. Their singer, who'd been known for his political "commentary" (bascially he'd bash the US any chance he got) Pulled the band off the tour in protest because the US had started fingerprinting foreign nationals as they came into the US. So with his protest he shot is band in their collective feet and lost them one of the biggest promotional opportunites they were likely to get. I know it doesn't make much sense,... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Purchase Flash MX Pro from House of Fusion, a Macromedia Authorized Affiliate and support the CF community. http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=57 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:178346 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
