Clearly Ms. Meirs completely imploded. I'm guessing the letter from Sen Spector yesterday caused the breakdown and Mr. Bush had no choice but to accept her resignation lest he subject her to more torment. Now we'll get another view on who Mr. Bush is: 1.) If he picks an obvious ulta-conservative then he'll cement his position as a puppet of the Christian conservatives and a totally political spineless wuss. 2.) If he makes an off pick, he'll get even more criticism than he already has, but I for one will get a smidgen of respect for him. Personally I'd like to see him show some chutzpah and pick Mr. Gonzales. It wouldn't be my choice of course, but I'd guess it'd be his second choice, and I'd like to see my President at least be true to himself. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Discover CFTicket - The leading ColdFusion Help Desk and Trouble Ticket application http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=48 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:178539 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
