The business geek controversy is that Wal-Mart hired a "White Shoe" strategy and management consulting firm, McKinsey & Co. McKinsey made the recommendations that Larry is referencing and it's thought that Ms. Chambers' memo was the opening volley to a full recommendation of McKinsey's solution. Included in McKinsey's solution were suggestions such as requiring cashiers to also move carts during their shift. This would prevent "high cost" employees from being eligible for these positions (due to handicaps) thus lowering health care costs. This leak is a debacle from the McKinsey perspective. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Discover CFTicket - The leading ColdFusion Help Desk and Trouble Ticket application http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=48 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:178559 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
