Darn are you going to make me dig into my Heinlein collection? There are a set of books he wrote in the 5 or 10 years before his death whose characters were almost the same - for instance you could have swapped the characters from The Number of the Beast with The Cat Who Walks Through Walls or the Lazarus Long novels without any real plot changes etc
