Heh - it was a project of mine in college too, although I wasn't a CS 
major, I was Math.  IIRC, it really sucked back then when I didn't have 
a clue as to what to do.  If I had implemented what I submitted back 
then into a casino now, I'm pretty sure I'd lose my shirt!

I'd love to tackle this again, to be honest I've had it on a list of 
to-do's.  I'd really love to couple this with an interactive tutorial on 
how to play BlackJack for "real", ie; playing to make the house 
advanatge as small as possible.  Not hitting when the house shows a 6, 
and youre' holding one too, etc.  I'm just too busy to even think about 
it.  Hell, I don't know how you people out there work so much AND have 
children.  I hardly have time to take my dog for a walk twice a day!
