Here is MN, I'm told we have one of the country's best Renaissance festivals. I haven't been there is a few years but there's a whole group of people who really get into it. They have costumes and all kinds of period wear and baubles. Are you one of those people? For me the best part about the fair is this booth where a guy sticks his head through a hole in a wall and insults passersby. You can buy tomatoes to throw at the guy, but beware: this guy REALLY insults you and he's very witty. I watched him for 2 hours once and probably 3 or 4 times a thrower tried to climb over a fence to get at the guy.
