of course I suspect we differ as to whether that would have been a good thing ;) You forgot the mention charisma. Not to hash over too many cliches, but Bush Sr was the anti-charisma, but that was ok when everyone though he was a serious guy who knew what he was doing. Once he barfed on the Japanese prime minister, that was kinda the end of that ;) Raising taxes just sealed it with a kiss ;)
