We're about to see observational reality collide with manufactured reality. The stories from the large corporate media channels are increasingly at odds with what people can see themselves. My local ABC TV news today did identify the surnames of some of those arrested. Fox also did, CNN did not. All cited the "electrocuted teens" element as the trigger, and cited economic conditions as the driver. The top search term on Technorati right now is "paris riots". Term "denmark riot" pulls up a lot of hits, many from first-hand reports... doesn't mean they should be taken at face value, but doesn't mean they're automatically untrue, either. I'm not sure that calling them "riots" now is appropriate, though -- I suspect there are many groups currently scuffling over the direction of the conflict. In France the president held a press conference today. Helen Blanco worked very quickly in comparison. Me, it all makes me want to get a T-shirt with the banned Danish cartoonists on it.... jd ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Get Instant Hacker Protection, Virus Detection, Antispam & Personal Firewall. http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=62 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:180058 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
