Impressions:

1. Why am I filling this out? Is this going to be a targeted survey?

2. In the second section there were a lot of overly complicated,
ambiguous or weighted questions. For instance with question 10 "I am
so sensitive to the needs of my partner that (s)he has called me a
"psychic" or a "mind reader.""

In this case, it's weighted because the first phrase of the sentence
is setting up the subject's "sensitivity" but the second half may or
may not be relevant. If the partner simply never uses the terms
"psychic or mind reader" does that invalidate the first part? People
may want to think of themselves as sensitive (the weighting), but the
second half may not apply even if the person is very sensitive. Ask
either the first half or the second half or both but seperately. "I am
sensitive to the needs of my partner." "My partner calls me psychic or
a mind reader."

There are several questions like that. And some are more subtly
ambiguous like question 32 "I see myself as a good communicator." Is
the question about self-perception or about whether I'm a good
communicator?

3. In question 53 the term "consort" is used. This is the only place
it's used. Does this indicate then that it refers to someone other
than the partner? That's how I read it.

4. The survey seems predicated on love being part of a relationship,
even a solid and healthy one. I've seen plenty of healthy
relationships that involve sex and/or mutual friendships or
partnerships but that don't seem to include "love".

5. Some questions felt like they needed a non-applicable or
not-important. For instance, with question 5 "Being respected by
partner". It's plausible that a person doesn't feel the need to
engender the respect of their partner. In a very one-sided
relationship, a wife/partner might be just a show-piece who's opinions
don't matter.

6. The survey was really long.

7. I was disappointed that after taking the time to fill it all out
that there wasn't any value to the response page. This may be
appropriate if it's a focused survey where the answers are going to be
interpreted in person later, but I can't tell.
