Tonight Texas passed this jewel of legislation 76% to 23%: "The constitutional amendment providing that marriage in this state consists only of the union of one man and one woman and prohibiting this state or a political subdivision of this state from creating or recognizing any legal status identical or similar to marriage." Okay, so it wasn't good enough that you didn't want "them" calling it marriage. You had to go and pass legislation that seems to clear civil unions right off the table too. Does Texas really HATE homosexuals that much??! Where's the fucking christianity in a move like this! It's pure hate and fear motivating crap like this.
