Ok... in boot camp, the USMC has this command they give when they want the line you're in to get shorter... and shorter... and shorter...
It's called "Nut to Butt". The Drill Instructor screams "NUT TO BUTT!" and all of the recruits respond: "NUT TO BUTT, AYE AYE, SIR!" Then they move their feet in tiny steps ever so closer to the recruit in front of them. And then the DI keeps screaming it until he's satisfied that the line is short enough.
