Well, it doesn't actually make the people who are just plain against homosexuality. I think many of the mover and shakers of the anti-marriage movement are this type. They are against these people and are using this cause to move their agenda forward. They're not saying the openly in the debates so that they can keep moderate conservatives on board who otherwise might be persuaded to a compromise. Which brings up one of my theories on what is wrong with America these days; nobody compromises.
