We heard her live opening for "Barenaked Ladies" last summer and she sounded
AWFUL. But I could tell it was the set up and acoustics (and the fact that
nobody around us shut the hell up for the opening act) so I bought the
album.
They've been using tracks from it on "Grey's Anatomy" and it reminded me of
it... so I "dug it out".
Actually a lot of the music I've been listening to/buying lately is from TV
shows. "LifeHouse" was on "Boston Legal", "Sia" was on the "Six Feet Under"
finale, etc.
I'm just surprised that more shows don't list links to the music for each
episode on their websites ("Smallville" does for example... but very few
others).
