I will add that you may need to tweak a bit considering the amount of
bandwidth sent to a mobile device.  Some cell providers have a proxy
that filters out certain content to reduce the amount of bandwidth
required, but I'm not sure if all providers do that.

I would strip out all unnecessary content from a mobile device.  To me,
these devices/services are still in the stage where they are great for
utility, but not for large, fancy multi-media usage as would a
desktop/laptop client.

Also consider if your client has to pay extra for bandwidth.
Fortunately, I get unlimited bandwidth from Sprint.

Depending on the PDA you might not have to do anything.  Modern
PocketPCs and Palms are able to deal with most basic HTML/CSS.  The most
you may need to do is ensure that your design is liquid enough to allow
the information to be easily seen on the PDA.

My advice is to first try it, see what needs to be addressed and go from
there.
