For us fiscal conservatives there still might be hope that Mr. Bush's monstrous $800 Billion medicare expansion (the largest since 1965) will tank.
(Remember, this is one he had that guy perjure himself for?) I was flipping channels this morn and came across a Good Morning America story about it. They had 4 Ivy league PhDs try to make sense of it and none of them could. Part of the problem is, I guess, that there are literally 1000s of plans - each state has an average of 36! And getting more information was supposed to be as easy as getting on the Internet. Unfortunately 75% of seniors have never seen the Internet and the sites that were supposed to be up Oct 1st are just coming up now.
