This company helped us after a tremendous data-loss disaster. (Well, the real "disaster" was a person, but I won't mention his name.) Supposedly, this company was able to restore 90%+ of the data from the first space shuttle crash. They have some free software you can run, but if that doesn't work, you can ask for their services. If you have a bootable machine, with your "crashed" drive in it, they can connect to it and try to repair it remotely. If that fails, you can send them your drive.
