The local news is now stating we have a severe threat for more tornadoes in our area.
I'm sure you heard about how Southern Indiana was hit with some killer tornadoes last Sunday. Well, the line is forming for more storms about an hour west of us and is heading our way. http://www.14wfie.com/Global/story.asp?S=4119247 It appears that the storm is moving around 60MPH. This is the same as last week's storm. Last night, we got several inches of rain in a few hours. Many major streets/roads are flooded. Not only that, but we lost power for a few minutes. With it, it took my home server down and now it won't restart. :'-( Also, the kids are on a two-hour delay for some reason today. That means they won't get to school until 10:00 am which, hopefully, will give them enough time before the storms get our way. The schools are much safer than our 100 y/o house. I'm at work in an old stone library with thick walls. I'm feeling pretty good about it. The wife is in Illinois about three hours away. As you can guess, she is a bit nervous about the kids. I told them the safest place was in school and not in our cellar, but you know how moms are... We are in for another bumpy ride.
