What's not going wrong with their code. I patched the major security holes that would allow anyone to use their software to upload anything, access anything and delete anything. I cleaned up some of the logic to make it faster and smoother. I rewrote chunks of it and still its giving problems. It times out on bids in some places leaving a false proxy which I've had to adjust and fix. When this auction is done and if Glenn is going forward with the whole project, I'm going to rip out their entire bid process and insert my own in. It's that bad. And their response when telling them about the security holes? silence. Their response when I offered to clean up and fix their code for them? "no one knows all the code there" and "we don't hold our programmers to any specific methodology". Freaking Frankenstein mess. I want an opensource auction package written in CF. (actually, what I want is to be paid to write stuff and support the community, but....)
