I pay for an ebay item using the pay now interface and wait for it to arrive. And wait... and wait. Finally go back into ebay to find that the seller has filed a dispute saying I refused to pay for the item. My only contact with seller was to ask him about a 5% discount for not using paypal, and to decline to send a money order somewhere in California.
I check paypal and find that the seller received then refunded the payment. I posted the transaction numbers into the ebay dispute form but I am kind of confused. Has anyone seen this before or is this guy just smoking something? I used the same ebay/paypal account to buy another item withing ten minutes of this one, and on the same computer so I am pretty sure it's not something on my end. Does any of this make any sense to anyone?
