Wow, same planet, different worlds. I thought the movie was fantastic. The effects were great and the young actors are really starting to come into their own. They improve with each movie. I especially thought the chemistry between the three was great.
I read one review that stated the movie was put together like "lego pieces" with no continuity between the parts. It definitely did feel a little rushed (and/or abbreviated) at times, but I don't think it was any worse than the first 3 movies. The books definitely offer a much greater depth of the world / story. Book 4 was also my favorite book (of the 6). These are my thoughts right after I got home (probably contains spoilers): <http://www.jeffryhouser.com/index.cfm/2005/11/20/Harry-Potter-and-the-Goblet-of-Fire> At 08:02 AM 11/21/2005, you wrote: >Subject: harry potter >From: Paul Ihrig <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >Date: Mon, 21 Nov 2005 07:11:15 -0500 >Thread: >http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/index.cfm/method=messages&threadid=19419&forumid=5#183261 > >i think this was the worst in the series of movies >the book was ok, but i think the buzz for hp may be about to fizzle... > >hardly any real magic in this flick. >too much romance, and drama -- Jeffry Houser, Software Developer, Writer, Songwriter, Recording Engineer AIM: Reboog711 | Phone: 1-203-379-0773 -- My Company: <http://www.dot-com-it.com> My Books: <http://www.instantcoldfusion.com> My Recording Studio: <http://www.fcfstudios.com> Connecticut Macromedia User Group: <http://www.ctmug.com> Now Blogging at <http://www.jeffryhouser.com> ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Find out how CFTicket can increase your company's customer support efficiency by 100% http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=49 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:183286 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
