This weekend I had a fortune that was 'You will get a phone call from a distant relative.' - which i could care less about. The interesting part was that the Learn Chinese word on the other side... was telephone!
Was this planned? Was this set up? Were all of our fortune cookies going to teach us a word used in the fortune on the reverse side??? It turned out no. :( What was funnier though was that we've been ordering from the same place so much lately, that when my roommate forgot to order his Honeydew Smoothie with Jelly on Saturday.... they asked why Johny didn't want his Honeydew Smoothie with Jelly.
