I dunno, personally I am in favor of banning the playing of Christina
Aguilera... yes I am kidding. I didn't know that I was arguing in
favor of *banning* such strategies, am I? That's unlikely to be
fruitful because given enough lawyers there will always be something
deplorable that is arguably legal, like using incendiaries on
civilians.

I don't think we should *do* that though. It's not what I would like
this country to be known for and I would like it to be in other
company than Somalia when it comes to the Geneva Convention. Now, I
would consider revising this opinion if someone could demonstrate that
useful intelligence has ever been obtained by such means.

As matters stand, we make enemies faster than we can kill them and get
no benefit for it at all.
