this is a good point though; really it's the two-story dealies I dislike, and the Hummers especially. I mean I look around my neighborhood at the Hummers and wonder what these people are afraid of? This is not exacty a war zone; the average house value is 250,000 plus and much higher in places, yet they need to drive a military assault vehicle? Not that the civilian version is anything of the kind, whch makes it even stupider.
Not to mention the gas mileage that all that weight causes. I want to say just drive your cars, people, and we will ALL be safer ;) screw the shielding.
