My Grand Cherokee gets better mileage than my sport got, but my Grand
Cherokee is a 98, which is the last year they used the same frame and
everything else as the normal Cherokee. It's great; the manual I bought
for my old one is the same as the one for my current Jeep. What year was
your friends Jeep?

Increasing the Gas tax probably will happen soon, that was something the
US chamber also recommended. They recommend raising the Federal gas tax
as well as an additional tax for Hybrids. Sounds reasonable to me.
