Interesting. It's been just fine for me, no delays at all. Some things I like:
1. Live traffic indicators for my area. I guess they are linked into areas that have traffic sensors in the freeways. 2. If you look for restaurants, etc. in an area, and you scroll the map, additional places will appear in new areas of the map. I don't think Google does that. 3. The "area of detail" box.
