Heh... That's exactly what I ended up with! I'm not a jewelry person at all, and definitely not a diamond person. After my husband and I decided to get married, we went and picked out a ring together, and sapphire won, being my birthstone, and a beautiful shade of blue. It's really simple and understated.
Seeing as crafts are more our thing than jewelry, we metalsmithed our own wedding bands out of white gold.
