You mean that the Iraq invasion is not a failure. What ever happened
to rumsfeld and feth's predictions that the troops would be out of
Iraq in less than a year. What happened to the predictions that the
conflict would pay for itself from Iraq's oil revenue. Also the
administration said that less than 100,000 soldiers would be needed.
Then pushed out General Shinseki from the military when he said that
it would take over a half a million soldiers to control Iraq.

So how many soldiers are in Iraq now? What is one of the most common
complaints of the soldiers in Iraq? Not enough soldiers on the ground.
If you look now, Shinseki's estimates are still right, with Rumsfeld's
guesses now are way off.

There is nothing wrong with getting out of a totally screwed up
situation. Unfortunately its one we created.
