Experience trumps both (Yards and Time).  I'm not worried about points or
yards and since the game is at hand (depending on the circumstances) I'm
mostly worried about experience.  If not running out the clock can affect
the outcome of the game then yes, run out the clock. If the game is not in
reasonably in question (See Texas or USC this weekend), I am getting my back
ups real game experience running the playbook.  An inexperienced quarterback
needs to learn to read defenses and the only way to master that is at full
speed in a real game. Handing the ball off doesn't help this cause.
