cats can be washed, although they usually hate it. Watch the claws :) The
suggestion about the towel sounds like a good one, though I have never tried
it. I generally discourage my daughter from bathing the cat but it does seem
as though you should in this case. FYI we had a little dog die from drinking
similar stuff.

As the man said, good luck. You may also want to try a vet if the cat
objects too strenuously... they can anesthesize it or give it happy pills.
