Diefenbaker Park is on the riverbank roughly across from the Queen Elizabeth 
Power Plant and down by the Exhibition area (which has been highly 
renovated/rebuilt so you wouldn't recognize it if you haven't been here in a 
while).  

It's got a huge hill that you can sled down in the winter and drive to the top 
of (to make out) in the summer.  It's also the place where they set-up 
grandstands and do fireworks and have outdoor concerts for things like Canada 
Day.
