+1 - this is an informal environment as most should be. While we're all making an impression, the impression here should be we're all normal. Many times formality is simply a gauge to see if someone knows when and how to do it. This isn't one of those places. For example, if someone sends in a CV that's got a typo, that's a pretty big deal.
