I loved side-kick... used it on my 486 laptop with Windows 3.1.

Basically it was just a PIM: notes, phone numbers, schedule, etc.  Something
like Outlook would do most of it (and MS is pretty free with donations to
non-profits).

I don't know of anything that matches it exactly but a lot of stuff comes
close.  TUCOWS lists several hundred (about 80 of which are freeware):
