I have the full XP 64 install. It works great so long as you don't want to
use a lot of peripherals.

 

Before making the switch ensure everything you own now that you don't want
to buy new has a 64bit driver available. 99% of the applications work fine.

 

I had to purchase a new ink jet as there were no plans to have a driver for
the printer I had. I'm still waiting for a driver for my color laser (Not
buying a new one of those yet)

hey guys 
any one do a full win xp 64 bit install? 
i am thinking about buying it, or should i wait for vista? 
when is vista due out? 

also is there any tools to go through you current pc & grab essential
drivers? 
or tools to back up apps you may need? 

just bored, and figure a format of my pc would be fun. 
any other tools you can think of. 

also if any one knows where i can get the os cheaper then 85 bucks...
