I have the full XP 64 install. It works great so long as you don't want to use a lot of peripherals.
Before making the switch ensure everything you own now that you don't want to buy new has a 64bit driver available. 99% of the applications work fine. I had to purchase a new ink jet as there were no plans to have a driver for the printer I had. I'm still waiting for a driver for my color laser (Not buying a new one of those yet) _____ From: Paul Ihrig [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Friday, December 09, 2005 8:02 AM To: CF-Community Subject: win xp 64 or vista hey guys any one do a full win xp 64 bit install? i am thinking about buying it, or should i wait for vista? when is vista due out? also is there any tools to go through you current pc & grab essential drivers? or tools to back up apps you may need? just bored, and figure a format of my pc would be fun. any other tools you can think of. also if any one knows where i can get the os cheaper then 85 bucks... thanks -paul ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| This list and all House of Fusion resources hosted by CFHosting.com.
