I agree.  I own a 4x4 Durango as well.  I learned to drive them at a
younger age with my parents.

4x4 and learned very quickly that just because it has 4 wheel drive, at
least on of the wheens still has to have traction for it to do much
good.

 

The 4x4 does help in most situations, however there is still a line that
when you cross it you forfeit the benefits.
