Thanks for the offer.  After tearing my hair out looking for my power 
cord (just found it here at work, d'oh!), I just went to the old 
low-tech standby of the local library and picked up Deception Point from 
Dan Brown.  Very good story so far.

Thanks for the links everyone else, I've kept those around for future trips.
